General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Elevated PSA is not due to the UTI.
Elevated PSA is due to the enlarged prostate. It is prostate specific antigen and more secreted from prostate in enlargement of prostate.
And severe UTI is generally associated with the enlarged prostate.
I would suggest to consult the urologist for proper treatment of prostate enlargement.
Treatment type depend on the following factors:
severity of symptoms and quality of life
Post void urine residue in the bladder in USG
Repeated episode of the urinary tract infections
Medication like tamsulosine and dutasteride will helpful in shrinkage of prostate and relieve of symptoms
If not responds then surgery like transurethral resection of prostrate (TURP) will helpful.
Hope this may help you
