What Causes Elevated SGOT And SGPT Levels In Blood?
Im woman 38yrs.old i m worried about the result of my sgpt and sgot are elevated and also cholesterol .specifically sgpt result 81,sgot 43 n chol 7.pls.help me what i m going to do .because i always feel nausea n vomiting everytime i take a ride on transfortation.
Normal SGPT level:21-72 IU/L______your level______81____just high Normal SGOT level:17-59 IU/L______your level______43____normal Normal cholesterol level is You have told 7??? is it mistake. 7 is not high and it is not possible. I think it is typing mistake. If Cholesterol greater than 300 mg/dl and not controlled by diet, lifestyle modification like exercise then require statin therapy under the advise of the cardiologist.
Regarding your SGOT and SGPT valuse, do not worry for that value. It is significant when rise is 5-6 fold with increased bilirubin (marker for hepatitis). Hope this may help you
