What Causes Elevated SGOT And SGPT Levels While On Nexito And Qutan?

My wife s SGOT=72.5 sgpt= 100, ggt=48, all are upper than reference range as mentioned in the test report. She has been taking medicines for last 1 & half year oxetol-xr-600, Nexito-10, Zapiz .5 and Qutan-100. All are one tab at night for borderline personality disorder problem as prescribed by psychiatrist. Should I visit general physician/gastro or it may be due to medicine ? she does not have any jaundice like symptoms till now..USG suggests enlarged liver and bulky pancreas. her gall bladder was removed in 2014. Please advise.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I understand your concernt.
All antidepressant drugs may potentially cause liver injury, even at recommended doses, and some groups are more vulnerable than others. All antidepressants can induce hepatotoxicity, especially in elderly patients and those who take multiple pharmaceutical agents. Although no dose-response relationship has been clearly demonstrated, it is best to stick to the minimum effective dosages of antidepressants to reduce the risk for liver injury. Antidepressants "should be discontinued immediately" in any patient with suspected drug-induced liver injury.
All the best
