What Causes Elevated TSH Level And Palpitations?

Helo doctor i am 29 years old height is 5 foot 3 inch.weight is 87 kg.my tsh level first time done today is 5.1? Iam worried as is it dangerous.along in last 2 months iam suffering from palpitations as 110.pulse rate specially after food.as i feel to much gas.my mood is down as i think that something can happen any time.and also i feel sometime shortness of breath as i feel all is because i think n and i become worried abouy my health.

Hello,

Your TSH is normal only so don't worry. Use may be suffering from anxiety neurosis or panic attacks etc.

You have also to be checked for blood pressure and cardiac functioning status. Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol. Avoid carbonated drinks also.

Please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
