My doctor said my white blood count is high and stated he thought I might have leukemia but a visit to ER blood work show in blood test possible Mono still waiting for second blood test from doctor now I have a rash on my thighs what do you think ER doctor just told me to increase my thyroid medication
Increase in WBC count means leucocytosis. It can occur due to various reasons; ranging from an acute infection to leukemia. So to definitely tell whether its leukemia or not you should do a peripheral blood smear examination immediately.
Rashes in the body could be because of low platelets. Please get your platelet count checked manually.
