What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Along With Palpitations In Heart?

I have been experiencing very high blood pressure numbers 181/102 and I take bp Meds and I m overweight but trying to lose weight but my numbers go up so high that I just stop because I feel like my heart coming through my chest and I have palpitations to where I feel like my heart is going to stop beating what should I do because I am thinking of getting weight loss pills just to lose weight because I am afraid

High BP with Palpitations may be due to various reasons:

1) Anxiety disorder
2) Hyperthyroidism
3) Pheochromocytoma
4) Secondary Hypertension

You need to have a complete heart checkup and evaluation of above conditions. Consult a physician or cardiologist for beeter hypertensive control and evaluation.
