What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure And Breathlessness In A Woman With Anxiety?

Hi I am 53 year old female I have anxiety for years and I recently felt different, I have to cough to getbreath sometimes but I get a scary feeling,I feel paronoide I haunt felt like this till I got new job, I went to see a nurse practitioner,told me to see my primary doctor my blood pressure a little high don t have. High blood pressure, well he said i have sinus my face hurts I am sissy I have bad sinus I have thyroisism, I don t take medication in a while ,I feel good just this recent happen 2 days a go can you explain. G

dear madam
elevated heart rate and being aware of your heart rate ie palpitation, breathlessness, elevated systolic blood pressure, funny butterfly feeling in the stomach are all symptoms of anxiety, but to be doubly sure please do visit your GP as your RN suggested, and get any other co existing issue ruled out
