What Causes Elevated Body Temperature?

My body is hot to touch all the time. I m 62. There is no fever present. My husband is 70 and has this as well. I thought it was just our ages, but I realized that our 27yr. Old son has the same symptoms. Our 30 yr. old daughter does not. Now, I m beginning to wonder if we all have a common medical disorder. I m on simvistatin, as well as 81mg. Aspirin, fish oil, vitamin D, glucosamine, biotin, and a multivitamin.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The same symptom in almost everybody in the house suggest a common infection.Identifying the exact cause may be difficult since no other symptoms. However, a blood culture may help identify the cause. If in a malaria endemic zone, a malaria test too will be good. You may see a Doctor if the symptom persist. An anti-pyretic like paracetamol should be avoided for now as it may mask the fever an allow the infection to progress.Just observe and see the Doctor for work-ups if it persist.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
