What Causes Elevated Heart Rate Along With Dizziness?
My husband has bouts of increased heart rate, flushing, light headedness which began ~3-4 weeks after major back surgery, and have been happening for at least two weeks. He just had an event as we sat down for lunch. He walked away from lunch, and is now lying down (napping?)

i can understand your concern. the symptoms doesnt appear to be related to the surgery done. But it can be due to any post surgical stress if at all present.
i would advise an ECG, thyroid profile, blood sugars and electrolytes to check for any abnormalities in them. any changes in these can lead to increased heart rate, flushing, sweating.
