What Causes Elevated Heart Rate?

Lately my heart rate seems to rise after minimal tasks. I could feel my heart beating in my whole body. I seem to breath a little heavier as well. My blood pressure was always 120/68 or below but recently it fluxuates and one time it was 145/74. I checked it about an hour later and it was back down to 124/67. a couple weeks ago my ancles were swollen but not pain and the swelling went down after a couple days.

You have not mentioned your age and other lifestyle habits like smoking etc and not ruled out any other existing medical condition like Diabetes etc and any medicines if you are taking. All these had an important bearing. However heavy breathing or early tiredness with feet swelling it needs some physical examination to check for any raise in JVP. Best advice is to see a near by doctor and you might need some investigations like KFT ECG FBS LFT Hb etc.
