What Causes Elevated Levels Of Alanine Transaminase In Blood Test?

Hi, My name is Saurabh.I have gone through complete blood test.In the report i have found that Alanine transaminase is increased..

it should be in between 0 to 37..but it is 52....

what is the reason? and what should i have to do to come in range...

please suggest.

NO need to worry.
retest liver enzymes after 3 to 6 months.

Usually ALT or AST values higher than "two times the upper normal limit", is considered abnormal ( in some countries, ALT or AST values of more than 100 are considered abnormal).

Value of AST or ALT greater than 85 or above maybe investigated further.
