Immature granulocytes are the body's way of reaction to an infection. You mention you had pneumonia when this showed up in your blood work. Depends on how long ago you were treated for pnuemonia for this to clear from your blood. Should be about 2 weeks after you finished antibiotics for pneumonia. You should have a repeat CBC with differential about 1 month after being treated for pneumonia and if the immature granulocytes still appear you should be evaluated for another infection or for blood disorder such as leukemia.
