As liver enzymes are elevated, they can be a liver disease like hepatitis. For further workup following investigation is done.
-Ultrasound abdomen
-Serum hepatitis A virus (HAV) antibody investigation
-Serum HBsAg
-Serum hepatitis C virus (HCV) antibody investigation
According to reports and cause further specific treatment given. Consult gastroenterologist for examination.
