What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes And Swelling In The Feet?
My sister drinks and has lost a lot of weight she is 63. Her speech is not clear she seen to try and fine her words. We just saw her for the first time in a few years. She tells us her Dr. Said her liver count should be 30 and hers is over 100. She has swelling in her feet. Blood circles under the arm skin. Her weight is 85 to 100 at most was 130. I don t know what to do she will not go back to Drs. Canceled ins. We want to help.
Hello First of all abstain her from drinking too much liquor.
Elevated liver enzymes may indicate inflammation or damage to cells in the liver. Inflamed or injured liver cells leak higher than normal amounts of certain chemicals, including liver enzymes, into the bloodstream, which can result in elevated liver enzymes on blood tests.
Try to lower her liver enzymes by Quit Drinking Alcohol. Eat a Low Protein Diet. Avoid Acetaminophen. Reduce Environmental Toxins. Implement a Healthier Diet Regimen. Drink a plenty of Water. Detox and Support Liver Function with Herbs.
I hope this helps you
Thanks Dr. Tripat Mehta
