Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 21 year old daughter has had multiple kidney stones the last 4 years and has pain in her side often. They also said her liver enzymes were high. They can t find any thing wrong with her side and that is the main reason we went to the Dr to begin with. She sleeps way to much for a young 21 year old women.
Based on the history you have shared, for elevated liver functions she needs to have ultrasound to rule out changes of fatty liver disease. Also get viral serologies done. Good hydration and limiting fat intake may help. Keep track of liver enzymes every 3 monthly. If keeps on increasing liver biopsy may be.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
