What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?
I have some mildly elevated liver enzymes. I Crossfit regularly, eat a pretty clean mostly paleo diet, and drink once a week, no more than 6 drinks? Having a hard time pinpointing the cause with my doctor. I started 150mg of Wellbutrin a little over a year ago. How likely that this is the cause, or any other ideas?

I understand your concern. in a small percentage of people, a mild elevation of liver enzymes is not necessarily an abnormal finding and extensive investigation should not be pursued.
However, studies have shown that long term use of some drugs may cause mild elevation of the liver enzymes. One of these drugs is Wellbutrin (Bupropion).
Should you decide to stop this drug, and you should do so only with your doctor's approval, it would take up to 8 weeks for your liver enzyme levels to go back to normal.
