What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?

52 year old male,former smoker for many years(25+),had 3 medicated stents due to blockage,no heart attack,taking all my prescribed meds including a statin,latest blood draw had dramatically reduced LDL but now my liver enzymes have increased,told to stop taking statin and have blood checked again in one week...am I in danger?

Certain prescription medications, including statin drugs used to control cholesterol
Drinking alcohol
Heart failure
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

Other causes of elevated liver enzymes may include:

Alcoholic hepatitis (severe liver inflammation caused by excessive alcohol consumption)
