I am into weight training 6x a week and taking whey supplements and a beta-alanine based pre-workout supplement. should i worry about this test result?
Hello Welcome to health care magic. It is normal for liver enzymes to be in upper range of normal because of high carbs or proteins food, certain medications, alcohol intake or medical problem like diabetes mellitus. Liver enzyme value is abnormal when the levels are atleast double of upper range. In that case, other specific tests need to be done like glutamyl tranaferase, alkaline phosphatase, prothrombin time. Therefore, you need not worry about your lab results if you donot have other clinical symptoms or are on any medication or alcohol.
Hope this information helps. Feel free to ask any more query.
