What Causes Elevated Lymphocyte Count In Blood?

Hello. My son is 13 months and continues to have high lymphocyte % (between 75%-85%) along with fluctuating neutrophil counts. My question is, what would be some reasons as to why the absolute and percentage of lymphocytes are so high? Most recent labs: 80% lymphocytes and 10k absolute lymphocyte count (ANC is sitting around 1400 and WBC is 12,500). Thank you

There are many causes of high absolute lymphocyte count as follow:-
1. Most common is Acute viral infections, such as infectious mononucleosis(glandular fever), hepatitis and Cytomegalovirus infection.
2. Bacterial infection like pertussis, tuberculosis & brucellosiscan cause rise in lymphocytes
3. Some protozoal infections such as toxoplasmosis and American trypanosomiasis can cause lymphocytosis
4.chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia which are blood cancer
