My wife delivered the baby boy on 27 January 2017 with c section. We r feeding our baby with bottle formula milk since my wife is not produce enough milk to meet baby needs and baby also did is not interested in breast feeding. She has taken lactonic granules for about 1.5 months. Now with the test done on my wife it is found that her prolactin level is high it is 160. Is it dangerous... Plz advice what to do......
Hi, I think prolactin level will be high in postpartum period. If you are breastfeeding, then it will be higher. Lactonic granules will further increase the milk production and lead to high prolactin level. Prolactin level is a hormone which help in production of milk. So, it is not dangerous in your wife's case. Hope it helps.
