Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Elevated Red Blood Cells And Lower Abdominal Swelling?
I am 49 I had a full hysterectomy at 27. Now I was told in Nov. I have HPV. My red blood cells are slightly high. My I biopsy s came back okay. But I will get rechecked next mo. I was wondering if I do have vagil cancer. Would my lower half of my abs be swollen and hard. I am not heavy and am in shape. But tummy is swollen.
* As per my case evaluation, lower abdomen swelling with some level of high RBC are not characteristic of vaginal cancer.
* Protruding belly may be fat deposition of lower abdomen (van be possible with normal body weight ) or else.
* The high RBC needs to be evaluated for the possible reasons as some immune response to myeloid stem cells or so forth. Do continue to use our medical services.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
