What Causes Elevated Values Of WBC Along With Ear Pain?
54 year old femal, wbc 3.7 now, 6.2 last year, 4.8 year before. Neutrophils 50.6, lymphocytes 37.9,monocytes 8.7, eosinophils 2.3, baso 0.5.. All of those go with wbc 3.7... Have had one ear ache at times & gland slightly swollen. All other labs fine.. Worried

your counts are well within the normal limits a few cells up or down are a often found depending of presence or absence of infecting agents for the body to fight it out. that's what wbc are meant for.
please get your ear checked for any infection which seems likely in view of a swollen lymph node as you inform us. there after a short course of appropriate antibiotics will fix the problem.
please be informed WBC count between 4000 to 10000 cells / microl is considered normal.
