What Causes Elevation In Lipase Levels Causing Nausea And Lack Of Appetite?
Hi my work colleague is grey looking, she has elevated lipase levels, nauseated, cant eat, palpable mass on LUQ, and pain in LUQ. She seen her GP 2 and a half weeks ago and he did the blood test which shown everything was ok but her elevated lipase and told her to come back if nothing has improved in 2/52. Her symptoms are getting worse. What could this be doctor?
The left up quadrant pain, is associated with some process. Like, intercostal neuritis, abdominal wall muscles injuries, pancreatitis or others like kidney problem. However, taking on count, she has high level of lipase, it would be good to considerate pancreatitis, peptic ulcer, or gastritis, because those organs are located in that quadrant, or related. Lipasa elevates too in those cases.
Hope to be useful
