Hi and Thank You for being there for my question. My question is My niece went for lab work yesterday and staff stated it showed elevated white blood cells. They request she go back tomorrow. to see if medication is working.. Stated she had an infection in her blood. What could it be?
The elevated WBC counts are suggestive of infection. Well the source of infection can be identified by studying systemic examination and clinical examination. The kind of infection can be known by doing culture studies.
