What Causes Elevation Of WBC Levels And Lumps In Both Armpits?
I recently had blood work done and the results showed that my WBC is elevated at 11.5. I have no signs of infection or symptoms, however over the weekend I developed small round lumps in both armpits. They didn t hurt for the first 2-3 days, but have now grown larger and are slightly red and painful. What could this be and do you recommend I return to the doctor right away. I do have an appointment on the 27th to repeat the blood work. Should I be concerned?
