I had a pelvic ultrasound on day 8 of my cycle (just finished bleeding) and it showed a lining thickness of 9mm, should I be concerned? The tech and the clinic doc was a little concerned and has sent me to a gynecologist, is that thickness considered hyperplasia?
During this phase of the cycle endometrial thickness is expected to be around 5 - 7 mm. So in your case endometrium is thickened and it is better to follow up with a histopathological evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
