What Causes Enlarged Left Breast And Numbness In Nipple?

My left breast has recently become bigger than my right, and the left nipple has been more numb than the right, and the left breast has been quite itchy. A couple years ago, a tumor was found in my right breast, it was not cancerous, the tumor grew due to my birth control, but I had the tumor removed shortly after. What would cause the symptoms in my left breast?

Hi;
Thanks for writing to HCM.
as u had a history of tumor removal and that was probably a fibroadenoma.
Now as far as left breast is concerned u hav to do for a breast self examination. U can find the procedure on net.
If u find a solid moving lump in ur breast than most likely its a fibroadenoma.
If u Dont find any tumor than these changes can be due to fibroadenosis.
If a hard non moving painless lump is found than visit ur treating doctor asap.
Though mammography must be done but a FNAC is always confirmatory.
