What Causes Enlarged Lymph Node And Excessive Sweating?
My 12 yr old daughter has an enlarged lymph node in front of her left ear and her left tonsil is also notably enlarged. It has been this way for about three months now. She has has a history of excessive sweating. Im not sure if all of this is tied together or not but am quite concerned.

Hi. Commonly lymph nodes and tonsils are enlarged due to infection.
In case of your child the location of the lymph node in front of the ear and one sided enlargement of tonsils is unusual. Excessive sweating also is of some concern but it is not clear from when.
If we put together all these together it is a bit worrisome. It MAY be some form of cancer of lymph node what is known as Lymphoma.
Please see a doctor at the earliest for proper evaluation.
