What Causes Enlarged Nodes After Sex When HIV Test Is Negative?

hi, 8 years ago i had protected sex with a commerical sex worker.after 6 months i started to develope enlarged nodes in arm pits persistently with no other symptom. i have got HIV tested elisa and w.b.test 2 years and a year ago, both times negative fortunately.my ex and present gf both are also healthy. then why i still have enlarged nodes? please advice.thank you

Hello,
you might possibly be wrongly interpreting your nodes to be enlarged. please see a doctor and if your nodes are really enlarged the doctor will run some tests to figure out why if it is needed. sometimes some people have a few enlarged nodes which are not significant. if you consult a doctor, he will tell you if your nodes are enlarged for real, and if they are indeed enlarged, he will evaluate to see if you need further investigations to determine the cause. it might also be that your enlarged nodes do not need further investigation.
