What Causes Enlarged Spleen While On Aspirin And Omeprazole For Hypothyroidism?

I m a 39 year old Hispanic woman. I have been diabetic since age 9; I have hypothyroidism (take levithyroxin); I also take carvidalol, omeperzol, low dose aspirin, fish oil, lasix(only when needed), losartin, novalog, and lantus. I ve had pain in the vicinity of my spleen for about 18 months; however, nothing has been found other than I have a slightly enlarged spleen. I have had diarrhea for the past 15 hours, I feel hot not the inside but I m freezing! It is time for my menstrual cycle which has become overly painful! What does this sound like? Help

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems you have inflammation of Bartholomew gland situated in lateral part of labia majora (part of vagina). You need to get a course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory pills to relieve it. This has to be supported by personal hygiene of genitalia, cleanliness and fomentation if pain is more. Please consult your gynecologist for detailed physical examination followed by specified medication / management suitable for you.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
