i have been diagnosed with tonsillitis, given a prescription of metamizol for the fever, and amoxicillin for the infection. The medication seems to have no effect as the fever comes and goes sporadically. Currently my tonsils feel slightly larger than before, and now my gums and tongue are covered in painful white blisters.
I can hardly swallow anything other than water, i tried forcing myself to eat, in very small bites, some food, which just ended up as diarrhea.

Could this be something else, or could the antibiotics simply not have an effect, or is it a reaction to the antibiotics itself?
