What Causes Epigastric Pain And Nausea?

I am having on a pain on a scale of 1-10---the pain is a 7. It is upper, mid-epigastric pain and nausea. I took my bra off as the pain is intense. I have never had this before. I have laid down for awhile, it is still present. I was just looking up gall bladder symptoms when this became available. I am 58 y.o. I am fit. I exercise 3 times a week. My weight is 135. I have had M.S. for many years but it remains inactive.

H,

Since you have a history of M.S. you should get it rechecked, examined & treated. Commonly Epigastric pain occurs due to Indigestion, Overeating, Lactose Intolerance, Gastritis, Acid Reflux & GERD, Peptic ulcer or Gallbladder stone/disorder.

Take antacids, PPI's like Pantoprazole/Rabeprazole. Take Enzymes (Aristozyme) for easy digestion. Include fiber in your diet, avoid constipation. Stay away from oily-junk food & Addictions if any.

Get physically examined, get all investigations done. Your treatment will depend upon the severity of the disease detected. Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
