Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi lately i have had right upper epigastric pain into my back my stool is very light almost a pale yellow in color i have had my gallbladder removed also history of pancreatitis had hep screening done about a year ago was negative have had hep a and b vaccines as well thank you
I need you to tell me are these stools easily flush-able? Do they float? How is the smell? These could be due to food related if acute, but if this chronic, I suggest you to get medical attention as soon as possible to look for the cause as chronic pancreatitis can present this way. Removal of gall bladder can also lead to such condition if fatty meals are taken too often.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
