What Causes Episodes Of Low Blood Sugar Levels And Tiredness?
Hey! Im a 29 year old girl. I have exzema, asthma, and food allergies. Some of my allergies include dairy, sugar, rice, and eggs. Today I had a small brownie b/c I felt like my blood sugar was low (even tho a blood test proved its fine) and within a half hour I became itchy everywhere, I felt overwhelmed & like I wanted to cry, I felt like my coordination went down, all my muscles felt tense, I became very tired and people told me I looked pale. Over the course of 4 hours the symptoms slowly went away, but this is the 3rd time this has happened this year. The other times I don t know what caused it. Should I be concerned? My doctor hasn t given me answers.
The brownie likely contains dairy or/and eggs, sugar. Since you are allergic to these components, it is natural that the brownie would cause a reaction.
It would be best to avoid any foods that contain the ingredients that cause an allergic reaction. If you continue to use them even accidentally, the continued exposure would cause the severity of the allergic reaction to increase and increase.
I hope this helps
