What Causes Episodes Of Tingling Sensations In The Whole Body?

My husband who is 65 has had several bouts in the past three months of a full body tingling sensation that lasts anywhere from 15 minute to an hour. He does not feel feverish. The tingling is so severe he can not wear clothes, lay in bed, stand or walk. He has no rashes or other skin irritation, e.g. shingles.

Thanks for contacting HCM.

Tingling sensation might be due to nerve irritation. Please check vitamin B12 level for that. If it's below normal range you have to start vitamin B12 injections. You can consult neurophysician if B12 is normal for further investigation.
