Hello,
Nothing to panic, just relax.
Pregnancy test depends upon the HCG,
human chorionic gonadotropin hormone present in the urine. This hormone is also present in the blood if pregnant.
Accuracy of the pregnancy test depends upon the brand of the testing kit you are using, the medications (drug interactions) you are taking, certain medical conditions (cancers, ovarian tumors, etc) may interfere with the testing kit, molar pregnancy etc.
You are suggested to visit a gyne, get physically examined, get repeat
blood test & urine test for pregnancy done with the sample of the first morning mid Stream urine. Get USG done to confirm the viability of the fetus.
In the meantime, stay hydrated & well nourished. Avoid
anxiety or
stress.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
