What Causes Erection Problem Post Surgery For Torn Urethra?

I had a surgery for a torn urethra and small tear in the corpa. It has been 8.5 weeks. Everything works down there, but there are a couple things that have changed. My erections are not as hard. The scar from the degloving surgery is really noticecable and the raised parts are painful when touched. The are 2 very small hard bumps on the shaft under the skin, and there is a clumpy vein that is hard as well (wasn t there before). 1. Will my erections get better over time, or should I expect them to stay this way? 2. Will the scar get better, and less painful? 3. What do you think the very small bumps are under the skin? Do you think they ll get better or go away? 4. Is there anyway to remedy the clumpy vein that is now there? Thank you!

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Erection and pain will settle down with time. The scar will stay there only and for the bump, you feel it needs a surgical consultation and a proper clinical examination for evaluation and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
