What Causes Excess Bleeding,stomach Cramps And Bloating After Being On Depo Shot?

Ive been on the depo shot for 3 years my boyfriend gave me my shot last time this time (3-1-15) after he pulled the needle out medicine and blood started leaking out is that bad? Also i havent bleed for 5 months then tonight i just started bleeding alot and having bad cramps i only bleed for 3-4 hours.. my stomach is bloated and ive been burping alot and not feeling like myself am i pregnant?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

No at times, it can bleed and some medicine can leak out, this is not an issue. As for the symptoms you are experiencing they could all be side effects of the depo shot and is considered perfectly normal.

But if at all you cannot tolerate the side effects then please do report to your doctor for an elaborate evaluation and also either medications to suppress the side effects or find another suitable substitute.
