What Causes Excess Fatigue After Gall Bladder Removal?
Hi! I am 57 years old. 47 lbs, 5 1 . Operated already with my gallstone problem. I feel so weak. Maybe I don t exercise too. I have also problem with my nerve, always numb. Maybe it s also work related, because of using computer everyday. What is the best complete vitamin for me? Thanks
These symptoms of fatigue and tiredness after surgery are common. It would take about 4 to 6 weeks to regain the strength. In my opinion, you should start exercising daily, maintain a good diet and do not sit for too long on the computer (take 5 mins walking breaks after every 20-30 minutes).
As for the numbing problem, the details you have provided are a little less, i would like to know which part of your body feels numb and when do you feel it and for how long? According to me In the mean time you can start taking vitamin B12 tablets, one tablet a day for a month, as B12 deficiency often causes numbness. Also, get your blood sugar levels done, consistently high sugar levels can cause numbness too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiba Tehrim, General & Family Physician
