What Causes Excess Hunger, mood Swings And Nausea While Taking Mononessa?

I m curious. I have been having pregnancy like symptoms. I am on Mononessa but I feel like I am always hungry. I can eat then 30 minutes later feel like im starving. I have crazy mood swings and feel nauseous a lot. I was wondering if that is just the Mononessa? I ve been on it for a couple of months but this is just now starting. I have cramps in my stomach a lot too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am and welcome.

From your description I am guessing you could be having two underlying problems. The first could be a possible gastric condition (possibly a gastric ulcer) that seems to be causing the hunger pains and all the other gastric symptoms.

In majority of cases, any abnormalities in the body lead to hormonal imbalances which could also be the circumstance here. The gastric condition could be causing an imbalance in your hormone levels which can depict pregnancy-like symptoms.

Best wishes.
