What Causes Excess Sleep While Taking Benadryl, Dalmane And Neurontin?
I am over 65 and a smoker. I am concerned that I am over-medicated. I am very sleepy during the day. I take 40 mg of Celexa, 20 mg of Lotrel, 40 mg of Nexium, 50 mg of Benadryl, 15 mg of Dalmane, and 300 mg of Neurontin. My main diagnoses are hypertension, neuropathy in my legs, and copd. What is your opinion about all of this medicine?

Benadryl can cause some amount of drowsiness and instead you can try montelukast (1 tablet a day) in the morning, which works as an antihistamine and also does not have drowsiness as a side effect.
