What Causes Excess Vaginal Bleeding After Sex Despite Cauterization Of Cervix?

Hi, a few years ago my doctor sent me to have my cervix cauterised because I ve been on the pill forever and I take 3 packs back to back (seriously bad periods, to the point of anaemia, the pill changed my life) and have done for years. So I had the procedure done, haven t been with someone for a couple of years but this week when my new partner and I had sex I had bleeding. Like, big time. It s happened before but not as much. My doctor told me this wouldn t happen again after I was cauterised, it was a few years ago so could I be suffering with the same thing again? I do have a tilted cervix too, not sure if this makes a difference. Thanks, Jen

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such complaint of bleeding P/V may have reasons that actually demands the tests but most of the time if this is happening after the coitus then it may not be menses or it may be just co-incidence, differentiation is necessary, it can not be assumes anything hope this information helps.
