What Causes Excessive Abdominal Bloating And Hard Feeling In The Stomach?

My son is 42 and his stomach is very extended. He does not eat a lot but his stomach looks bloated and feels hard. He seems to need to drink a lot of liquid all of the time. We are very concerned about him. We have had him have some basic tests and they all were in the normal range. What would you say we should do? Thank you so much.
