My 13 year old daughter has been burping and passing gas for 9 days. She has been on the B.R.A.T diet for 5 days and has lost 5 pounds. She is 5'8"/155 pounds. She has not thrown up, no diarihea and has no fever. She has stomach pain and is bloated. She has tried Omeprazole 20mg and that gave her stomach pain. we took her back to the family Dr and he gave her famotidine 20 mg and it does not seam to help. Gasx did not help. Why is this happining?
