What Causes Excessive Crying And Weight Gain Despite Giving Neopeptine?

My three month old baby has been on farex formula since birth but since last few weeks she cries intermittently on few days as if she has some pain. I have been giving her neopeptine drops but the crying episodes still occur intermittently. She does not cry at the same time every day so does not look like colic. She is gaining good weight and ht too. Can just gas be the reason for this. Also she passes motions once in four five days. Keeps burping frequently and spits up too though just a spoon full and not large quantities. Could you plz help me understand these episodes of crying and during these episodes she seems to be Uncomfortable while held upright or laid down on back.
