Hello,
Gastric irritation occurs in about 1-3% of individuals using oflomac. That may be the cause for crying. Treatment options for
gastric reflux are aluminum hydroxide containing antacids,
magnesium hydroxide containing antacids, H2 antagonists like Nizatidine, Ranitidine, Famotidine, proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, Esomeprazole and Pantoprazole.
The other causes of continuous crying in a baby are diaper rash, acute otitis media or ear infection,
testicular torsion,
intussusception,, colic, too hot or too cold temperature, hair wrapped around toes and fingers, gastroesophageal reflux or meningitis.
Please consult your
pediatrician to rule out all the above causes and for prescription of medicines for diagnosed cause.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
