What Causes Excessive Crying In An Infant?

Hello, my name is Aggie. I m concerned about my 10 month old baby with stressing her self out. This is what she does. She scissor crosses her little legs and lifts them a little, puts her arms crossed also on her tummy and she looks like she s doing crunches and makes little grunting/crying noises. She turns all red and her little face looks stressed out. At first I thought she was doing that for comfort when she was going to sleep but lately she s been doing that all the time. I don t know what to do. Thanks I apologize I thought this was a free service. I can t afford to pay it. Thank you :)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to abdominal pain. you can give him syrup Mefanamic acid, syrup paracetamol after consultation. If he not taking any feed or vomiting or loose stools passing then consult with pediatrician urgent. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying conditions.

Hope I have answered your query.
