What Causes Excessive Drooling And Fever In An Infant?

I have a 4 month old boy that drools excessively, cries for hours, acts like he is hungry but won t eat (he is breast feed). Yesterday he had a fever that would range from 100 to 102, the fever would come down with medication. We would alternate between ibuprofen and Tylenol as needed but not more than recommend as per to manufacture recommendations. We do notice 2 small teeth bumps on his lower gums, any suggestions as to what we can do to help him eat, and what may be wrong with our son?
