What Causes Excessive Dryness In The Scalp?

Hello Dr Rynne. I am having excessive dry scalp since September of last year. The same dryness has occured between my breast, in side my ears, some areas of my face. It is worst in my scalp. I am not loosing my hair it has thinned out so much. I have been to 2 dermatologists and neither has given me a definitive diagnosis. They look at it and say it s dermatitis. One of the doctors did a biopsy, but only excluded psoriasis. What do I have and exactly what do I need to do to stop it?

Hi,

I believe that this is caused by seborrhoic dermatitis so you need to see a dermatologist and have shampoo for this type of skin disorder.
