What Causes Excessive Hunger And Thirst In A Child?
My 5 year old grandson cannot stop eating or drinking. He seems to have no other symptoms (diabetes etc) but he finishes eating and is still hungry and can drink and drink and drink. He is gaining weight and we are becoming concerned. We try to restrict his intake but he cries he is sooooo hungry. He has been checked and they tell us to just monitor his food intake. It is more than that.

Are you sure he doesn't have diabetes i would still suggest you screen him over for diabetes first if negative then we can investigate further
